"This video showcases the third phase of performing Light Microblading on a standard U-blade model. The process shows adding the final lines and finishing touches to the brow pattern."
1. Going over the lines
Employ back and forth movements
The goal is to infuse more pigment into the skin. To achieve this, move the blade back and forth, gently pushing the pigment into the skin.
Pay attention to each line
It's crucial to go over every line carefully. Make sure to observe each one to ensure proper pigment retention. At a minimum, go over each line at least once. Be gentle. The number of times you go over a line can vary depending on the skin's reaction. Typically, artists might do this once, twice, or three times. The key is to proceed slowly and with a light touch to reduce the risk of scarring.
Cover the brow with pigment
Gently rub the pigment over the brow. At this stage, anesthetic is no longer necessary. Leave the pigment on the brow to ensure it penetrates into the wounds.
2. The second brow
Repeat the same steps as with the first brow.
Aim for precision with the lines
Move the blade carefully within the lines to ensure it stays within the initial wound. With more practice, you'll develop a better feel for this.
Emphasize being light and gentle
Remember, the essence of light microblading is to maintain a light and gentle approach. It's better to make more passes with a lighter touch than fewer passes with a heavy hand.
Cover the brow with pigment
Gently apply the pigment over the brow. Anesthetic is not needed at this stage. Leave the pigment on the brow to allow it to fully penetrate the wounds.
